It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrell Chester (Iola, Kansas), born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on December 1, 2019, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Chester. He is survived by: his mother Onetta Flynn (Burgess); his wife Karyn Ard; his children, Andy Chester (Michelle) of Iola, Griffin Chester, Lauren Moore of Odessa, Washington, Lexie Lakin of Topeka and Eve Ard; his siblings, Shaun Chester (Jennifer) of Lexington, Neb, Justin Chester (Amy) of Rose Hill, Kansas and Asia Foster (Brett) of Pittsburg, Kansas; his grandchildren, Hayes Chester, Paislee Lakin and Santiago Rivera; his grandfather J. D. Chester of Oklahoma; and his friend Chuck Shafer.

Memorial contributions in honor of Darrell are suggested to the family to help defray funeral cost and can be left with the funeral home.
