He is survived by: his wife Kathy "Kate" Owings; his children, April Donovan of Iola and Dale Donovan Jr. (Katy) of Harrison, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Taylor Crawford (Danielle) of Garrett Donovan, Ala, Melany Dean and Ayemiah Donovan; his great grandchildren, Titan and Daxton Crawford; his siblings, David Donovan (Edna), Dean Donovan (Mary), Daryl Donovan (Elaine) and Lucy Heidrich; and his sister-in-law Connie Donovan.
