Carl E. Slaugh Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl E. Slaugh (Iola, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carl leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Slaugh and Verona Slaugh; and his brother Reed. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Slaugh (Miriam) of Lawrence, Kansas, Karla Nye (Jed) of Pleasant View, Utah, Jennifer Hsu (Sungti) of Fishers, Indiana, Heidi Hallam (Ezra) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Russell Slaugh of Oceanside, California. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1420 E Carpenter St, Iola, KS 66749).
