With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Hood (Iola, Kansas), who passed away on December 23, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Blunt and Valborg Blunt (Nelson); her husband Donald Hood; her son Douglas Hood; and her brothers, Gordon Blunt and Clarence Blunt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Heim of Springfield, Missouri and Caroline Cole of Iola, Kansas; her grandchildren, Chris Cason, Carrie Cason, Jandy Bingham (Brent), Jessica Hood and Dillon Hood; and her sister Margaret Winter of Marshalltown, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
