He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Ard and Edith Ard (Daniels); and his son-in-law Darrell Chester. He is survived by: his children, Breg Finnegan (Corey), Karyn Ard-Chester, Jake Ard and Lacy Wheeler (Kevin); his grandchildren, Grace, Kayl, Bumble, Skyler, Eliot and Ainsley; and his sisters, Gail Nurnberg (Ron), Barbara Brittingham (Buddy) and Lori Blackwood (Tim). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and other close extended family.
