He is survived by: his sons, Chad Nikkel of Scottsdale and Greg Nikkel (Julie) of Leesburg, Ohio; his grandchildren, Zachary, Shaina, Kaylee and Mariah; his siblings, Betty Ensz (Dale) of Inman, Kansas and Lee Nikkel (Carol) of Madrid, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Barkman (Carol) of Swan River, David Barkman (Karen) of Kelowna, British Columbia, Galen Barkman (Charlene) of Morven, Wilma Barkman of Swan River, Lois Warkentin (Marvin) of Grandview, Kathy Penner (Howard) of Norquay, Saskatchewan, Darlene Harris (Gordan) of St. Andrews, Glenna Giesbrecht (Les) of Elma and Ruth Bartel (James) of Benito, Manitoba..
