He is survived by: his wife Irene Nikkel; his sons, Jerrold Toews (Julie) of Inman, KS, Les Toews (Dinah) of Windom, KS, Matthew Toews (Ilana) of Hydro, OK and Carlyle Toews (Joni) of McPherson, KS; his siblings, Harry Toews (Luella) of Barron, WI, Robert Toews (Diane) of Windom, KS, Randy Toews (Dianne) of McPherson, KS, Marilyn Schmidt (Clayton) of Buhl, ID, Alice Ensz (Kenneth) of Sutherland, NE, Ruth Nikkel (LaVern) of Inman, KS and Deanna Ensz (Richard) of Windom, KS; his stepmother-in-law Delma Nikkel of Moundridge, KS; and his brother-in-law William Wadel of Murray, KY. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
