He was predeceased by: his parents, Dietrich D. Ensz and Anna Ensz (Toews); his siblings, Walt Ensz, Hulda Goossen, Curt Ensz, Marie Ensz and Ervin Ensz; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Koehn; his children, Steven Ensz of Inman, KS, Douglas Ensz (Gina) of Greensburg, KS, Karen Justus (Charles) of Othello, WA, Diane Nightingale (Lynn) of Canton, KS, Rosalie Nichols of Inman, KS, Merle Ensz (Luanne) of Inman, KS and Duane Ensz (Kristi) of Transylvania, LA; his sisters, Martha Koehn of Moundridge, KS and Margaret Fehr of Pincher Creek, AB; and his siblings-in-law, Mabel Ensz of Louisville, GA, Julie Unruh of Montezuma, KS and Calvin Koehn (Velma) of Montezuma, KS. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
