He is survived by: his former spouse Gwendoline Rose Barnhart Walker; his wife Gwen Bengtson of Inman, Kansas; his sons, Matthew Bengtson of Omaha and James Bengtson (Trish) of Basehor, Kansas; his brothers, Earl Bengtson (Anna) of Salina and Roger Bengtson (Sherry) of Gypsum, Kansas; his nieces and nephews, Jesse Bengtson, Gaby Bengtson, Laurie Pelham (Andrew) and Justin Bengtson (Elizabeth); his aunt Isabel Bengtson; his stepdaughters, Elisa Applebee and Tiffany Hinson (Bob); his mother-in-law Theresa Barnhart; his grandchildren, Alexis Bengtson, Logan Bengtson and Abigail Bengtson; and his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Stiles, Sebastian Applebee and Serena Hinson.
