She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Giesel and Mary Giesel (Becker); her brother Stanley Giesel; her sister-in-law Wilma Giesel; and her son-in-law Arden Penner.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Duane Martens (Gayla) of Inman, KS, Shirley Penner of Inman, KS and Connie Koehn (Kevin) of Mayfield, KY; her siblings, Lee Giesel (Mary) of Wisconsin, Willard Giesel of Moundridge, KS and Arlene Koehn (Willis) of Moundridge, KS; and her sister-in-law Edna Giesel of Burns, KS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
