He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Dean Barrie Sr. and Doris Loban (Boynton); his wife Brenda Barrie (Woodfork); his children, Tony Barrie of Kansas City, MO, Lisa Barrie of Ingalls, KS and Lori Bayne (Jon) of Woodland Park, CO; his grandchildren, Stephanie Kinner (Jason), Tony Dean Barrie Jr. (Tyler Chipley), Zachary Dean Barrie and Isaac Ray Barrie; his great grandchildren, Jacoby, Xander and Gabriel Kinner; his brother Randy Barrie of Denver, CO; his stepfather Lyle Loban; his sister Sue Lemus; and his sister-in-law Sandy Barrie. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
