It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Moor-Wayman of Independence, Kansas, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard K. Paisley and Dorothy Paisley (Hitchcock); and her former husband Marshall Howard "Pappy" Moor. She is survived by: her husband Phillip S. Wayman; her children, Marshall H. Moor Jr. of Coffeyville, Michael Moor of Independence, Kansas, Michelle Moor of Knoxville and Melissa Bartel (Scott) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her stepdaughter Brenda Gnage of Leavenworth, Kansas; her sisters, Betty Phillips of Green Valley, Barbara Kinkel of Chanute and Carol Brewer of Bryan, Texas; and her close friend Louie Oliver of Independence, Kansas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; many other family and friends.
