He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Miner and Florence Grant; his children, Belinda Power and Terry Miner; and his siblings, Gloria Nordeen McDaniel, Precilla Louise Betley and Milton Miner.
He is survived by: his family Jesus; his wife Phyllis Owens; his son-in-law Ray Power; his grandsons, Jonathan Power (Calla) and Jake Power; his children, Johnnie Scott (Diana), Robby Scott (Jessica) and Cheryl Luna; and his grandchildren, Rebeccah Galindo, Sarah Luna-Moya, Jesus Luna-Moya, Justin and William Scott. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial contributions to be made payable to God's Family Chapel, 315 W. Sycamore St., Independence, KS and may be left in care of the chapel.
