He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jones and Jessie Jones (Moreland); his wife Marilyn; his son Jeffery Earl Jones; his daughter-in-law Gayla Jones; and his brother Waine Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Jones of South Coffeyville, Jane Gaskell (Tim) of Westby and Jon Jones of Pittsburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, the R. W. Jones Family of Oklahoma, and other special family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Independence or the VFW.
