Paul Viets Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Viets (Independence, Kansas), who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his sister Florine M. Seevers; and his granddaughter Cyan Scarpati. He is survived by: his sisters, Lavera M. Viets of Independence, KS, Lois M. Emerson of Broken Arrow, OK and Carolyn A. Pfotenhauer of South Bend, IN; and his children, Jon R. Viets, Kurtis C. Viets of Independence, KS and Rebecca Viets Scarpati of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
