She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Polston and Frances Grider Polston; and her husband Louis Michels (Lou). She is survived by: her brother Kenneth Polston (Carol) of Pryor, Oklahoma.; her daughters, Pamela Hines (David) and Kay Michels of Independence, Kansas.; and her grandchildren, Christopher Hines (Stacy) of Independence, Scott Hines (Denise) of Independence, Shannon Oakes (Tyson) of Independence and Sarah Porter (Mark) of Jenks, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to Forpaz or AWOL of Independence.
