He was predeceased by: his parents, Iner S Polson and Alice M. Polson (Robbins); his wife Suzanne Garrison; his brothers-in-law, Robert Garrison and Bennie Smith; his nephews, Steven Smith and Ron Garrison; and also, Bob and Mary Garrison.
He is survived by: his brother Duane Polson (Shirley); his niece Denise Bredow (Jonathan); his nephews, Kent Polson (Joyce), John Polson (Sharmon) and Robert Wayne Garrison (Martha); and his sisters-in-law, Saundra Garrison and Linda Smith. He is also survived by 4 great nephews and 4 great nieces, and 3 great-great nieces and 3 great-great nephews.
He was a long-term member of the Independence Lions Club, and past member of the National Accountants' Society, Public Accountants of Kansas, and the National Paraplegia Foundation.
