It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nell Updegraff (Independence, Kansas), born in Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Ward and Ruby Ragan (Noller); her sister Phyllis Ann Gregory; and her son Mark Ragan Updegraff. She is survived by: her husband John T. Updegraff; her son John T. Updegraff, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Peggy S. Updegraff; and her grandchildren, Megan E. Updegraff, J. T. Updegraff (Tracy), Curtis M. Updegraff (Marena), Amanda Massena, Derek Massena, Ragan Updegraff and Kevin Updegraff. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in the memory of Nell to the First United Methodist Church, 200 South Pennsylvania Ave, Independence, Kansas or P.E.O's Cottey College, Attention: IA Office, 1000 Austin Blvd., Nevada, MO.

We last met at the ARCO Pipeline office in Independence around 1980; I was there working on a project for Amoco. Your name popped into my head today. I googled you and chanced upon the obituary. Please accept my condolences on your wife's passing. My mother died in 2015 at 92. Brothers and I are well. Jim Hudzik, Flossmoor IL”
