She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay and Joyce; her stepfather Mike Harokopis; and her husband Robert Tafoya. She is survived by: her daughter Casey Adolph (Jeff); her grandchildren, Fiona Jordan, Cooper Adolph and Jaxon Adolph of Independence, KS; her daughter Julie Aguirre (David); her grandchildren, Reyna Aguirre of Halstead Kansas, Zander Aguirre, Tyson Ketchum and Addison Ketchum of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.; and her sister Leah Carman.
In remembrance of Middy's life, the family has asked that all memorial contributions be made to the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
