She was predeceased by: her former husband Don Whittington; her husband Richard Jarvais; her parents, William and Edna; her son Rodney E. Whittington; and her brothers, John Skinner and Bill Skinner.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Mavers; her daughter-in-law Rita Whittington; her sister Reba Godwin (Sid); and her sister-in-law Betty Jarvais. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Webb & Rodrick Chapel (306 W Main St, Independence, KS 67301). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery N Pennsylvania (1300 N Pennsylvania Ave, Independence, KS 67301).
