We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2022, at the age of 69, Melony A. Anderson of Independence, Kansas, born in Shippenville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard G. Meier and Georgia M. Meier (Claypool); and her siblings, Dennis, Steven Meier and Karen Merryman.
She is survived by: her husband Michael E. Anderson; her children, Michael II, Kimberly Hamlin (John) of Independence, KS, Charisse Wolfe of Independence, KS and Ashley Smith (Nicholas) of Coffeyville, KS; her grandchildren, Andrew, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Meagan, Anthony, Evan, Lilian, Logan and Tucker; her great grandchildren, Collin, Owen, Tatum, Johnathon and Eden; her sister Carol Lewis (Bob); her aunt Jan Olsen (Norm); and her pet Sadie.
In Lieu of flowers, all memorials can be made to Charisse Wolfe for funeral expenses and further care of Michael Anderson, or to the funeral home.
