He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren O. Davolt and Mary Grace Davolt (Howard); his siblings, Clyde Davolt, Goldie Myers, Anna Elkins and Irene Davolt; his grandchildren, Angela Chloe and Charles; and his great grandchild Eden Joy Ellen.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Queda Knuckles (Mike), Julia Sechrest (Tony), DeAnne Richter (Jeremy), John Wesley Davolt (Mendy), Joe David Davolt (Martha), Harel Davolt, LeAnn Parker (Chris), Nathan Davolt (Karrie), Faith Davolt and Timothy Davolt; his cousins, Max Davolt, Donna Rogers and Dorothy Cargile; his nieces, Shirley Ann Matthews, Mary Simmons and Adonna Gregory; and his nephew Ronnie Elkins. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.

If you would like to honor him, his wishes were that donations go to the upkeep of Sherman City Cemetery.
