It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Dodson of Independence, Kansas, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dodson and Alberta Dodson (Newton); and his siblings, Carl, Marion Dale Dodson and Mary Ann Knapp.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean; and his children, Mike Dodson (Kim) of Independence, KS, Jesse Dodson of Independence, KS, Renate Bowman (Bill) of Independence, KS and Ramona Dodson of Independence, KS. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left with the chapel.
