He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavada Cromwell and Walter Cromwell; and his son Jim Ted Cromwell. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Cromwell Cook; his son-in-law Rick Cook; his stepson Bill Thomison; his daughter-in-law Kathy Thomison; his stepdaughter Lauri Thomison; his sister Sharon; his brother-in-law George Hesser; his sister Sherry; and his brother-in-law Glen Hensley. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Sayre Alumni Association or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
