Bobbie Van Pelt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2020, at the age of 86, Bobbie Van Pelt of Independence, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Lee and Annie Bell Van Pelt (Gibson); and his siblings, Max, Dean Van Pelt and Pat Van Pelt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo Overson; and his children, Michael (Rene' Van Pelt), Robert (Marka Van Pelt), Tracy (Brad Oakes), Jeri (Christopher Hammerschmidt), Kelli (John Medlin) and Ceairra Van Pelt. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution be made in Bob's name to the Labette Health Foundation or AWOL of Independence.
