He was predeceased by: his father Rodney E. Mears; his grandparents, John and Vulla Cullison; and his stepsister Sabrina Martin. He is survived by: his mother Cynthia Sue Mears (Cullison); his siblings, Vulla Dusek (Dennis), Barbara Hamilton (Duane), Joe Bodine (Brianna), Johnnie Bodine (Leslie), Shelby Cullison-Mears (Allison) and Blaine Cole; his cousin Ben Decker; and also, Bennie Steven Cullison and Tammie Jo Tipton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hutchinson Funeral Chapel (300 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the same location.
The family has asked that any memorial contributions be made to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS to help defray funeral expenses.
