She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd B. Drake and Dorthy Drake (Wooten); her husband Kenneth W. Symonds; her daughter Vickie Markhart; and her brothers, Orville, Larry and Donald Drake.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie DeGarmo (Gregg) of Hutchinson and Kimmie Beltran (Anthony) of Hutchinson; and her grandchildren, Kyrsten Beltran, Olivia Beltran, Emily Beltran, Brandy DeGarmo, Kylie DeGarmo, Daniel DeGarmo and Ben DeGarmo. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Parkinson's Foundation.
