He was predeceased by: his parents, William Michelstetter and Carma Leta Michelstetter (Nelson); his stepfather Keith Martin; and also Clemons L. "Pat" Bergmeier. He is survived by: his wife Linda Meister of Hutchinson; his children, Laura Friesen (Kim) of Eagle River, AK, Jennifer Sullivant (Todd) and Kyle Michelstetter (Sierra); his sister Barbara Schneider (Steve) of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Gage Friesen (Miriam), Kadon Friesen, Malia Friesen, Talon Sullivant, Cohen Sullivant, Nataleigh Sullivant, Tyson Michelstetter and Jacoby Michelstetter; his great grandchildren, Hazel Friesen and Amelia Friesen; his stepmother Carolyn Michelstetter; his stepsiblings, Kathy Martin of Shawnee and Randy Martin of Missouri; and his pet Heidi Sue. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
