Violet Kimsey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Kimsey of Hutchinson, Kansas, born in Mountain Grove, Missouri, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Burgess and Amanda Jane Butcher (Jarrett); her siblings, Carol Carroll and Clifford Butcher; and her stepsister Francis McMann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Singer (Peter) of Germany and Valorie Joyce Clark (Keith) of Helena, MT; and her half-brothers, Don and Dwayne Butcher of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Lincoln Library, or Leisure Time Center, all of Medicine Lodge, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
