She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Chester and Carol Jean Higginbotham Sr. (Mann); and her sister Julia Long. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Crouse, Robert Crouse, Fredrick Crouse and Jannette Thoman; and her grandchildren, Chris Thoman (Ashley), Destiny Petz (Megan) and Eric Petz.
