It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Kay Ayres of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Turbett and Jean Turbett (Gopel); her husband William Bill Ayres; and her siblings, Betty, Danny and Pat.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Ayres (Jenny) of McPherson, Steffanie Kirkland (Garry) of Topeka and Holly Ayres of Salina; her grandchildren, Kylee Stout (Austin) of Hutchinson, Kortney Ellis (Ty) of Pittsburg, Matthew Kirkland (Haleigh) of Osage City, Alexys Johnson (William Cody) of Topeka and Alyssa Hedges of Salina; her great grandchildren, Brantley and Paisley Ellis; and her siblings, Ramona Moore of Oakdale, Minn, Rhonda Rebik of Clifton, Colo, James Turbett (Sally) of Debuque and Bob (Charlotte) of Tucson, Ariz.. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
