He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Base and Mary Base (Goertzen); his daughter Amy; and his father-in-law Kevin Starks. He is survived by: his wife Dee Base (Stucky); his sister Shelly Berner (Randy); his daughter Alisha Lucerro (Jeremy); his stepchildren, Maegan Lobban (Cody) and Bryce Stucky; his grandchildren, Crevan and Killian Lucerro; his stepgrandchildren, Keller and Jace Lobban; and his former wife Dana Blanton (Diggs).
