She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Floyd Taggart and Florence Taggart (Fink); her daughter Brenda Worley Billings; her son-in-law Jim Tilley; her brothers-in-law, Dr. Wallace Holderman and Dr. Ken Simpson; her great grandchild Addy Rae Barker; and her former husband P. K. Worley.
She is survived by: her husband Bob W. Barker of Hutchinson; her children, Paul "Tag" Worley (Alann) of Parker, CO, Brice W. Barker (Carol) of Hutchinson and Dana M. Tilley of Detroit, MI; her sisters, Nancy Simpson of Denver, CO and Mary Holderman of Hutchinson; and her son-in-law Jim Billings of Denver, CO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ruth Barker Memorial Fund at Hutchinson Community Foundation or Trinity United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
