He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. Hodgson and Bernice E. Hodgson (Wolfe); his wife Charlotte Kay "Katie" McAnally; his stepmother Ruby Mellies Hodgson; his stepchildren, Michelle Dick and Michael Cox; his sisters, Sharon Hildreth, Jan McMurphy and Marilyn "Corky" Gooch; and his stepsiblings, Craig Mellies and Gloria Dill.
He is survived by: his daughter Hope Selby (Troy); his stepsister Sylvia Wagerle (Craig); his grandchildren, Jacob Dick, Natalie Dick and Matt Selby; and his great grandchild Islani Villa (Robert Dill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
