He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph "Rudy" S. Goertz and Rita A. Goertz (Detmer); and his great grandchild Waylon Beshears. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine K. Zink of Hutchinson; his children, Renee Gates (Randall) of Manhattan, Jim Goertz (Tammy) of Hutchinson, Darren Goertz (Aubrey) of Hutchinson, Chris Goertz of Hutchinson and Jason Goertz (Kelsie Gormely) of Hutchinson; his siblings, Ronald Goertz (Carolyn) of Wichita, Barbara Swingle (Kenny) of Zenda, Jane Goetz (Steve) of Hutchinson, Doris Josephson (Jeff) of Olathe, Paul Goertz (Jan) of Pratt, Loretta Kerschen (Pat) of Harper, Susie Chambers (Jeff) of Lindsborg, Rosalie Blosser (Terry) of Newton and Joe Goertz (Debbie) of Hutchinson; his aunt Mary Lou Osner of Pratt; and his uncle Lonnie Detmer (Trevlyn) of Pratt. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
