He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. "Shorty" Mehl and Mary "Odah" Mehl (Fail). He is survived by: his wife Mona Mehl; his sons, Darren Mehl (Geena) and Brandon Mehl (Letishia); and his grandchildren, Damon Mehl (Erika), Jacob Mehl (Kelsey), Lauren Brown (Sam), Cami Brannen and Conner Mehl (Megan). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
