He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hilt and Thelma Hilt (Taylor); his brothers, Billy, Ivan and Dan Hilt; and his son-in-law LaRoy Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Alexander, Terry Hilt, David Hilt (Denise), Calvin Hilt (Lisa), Augusta and Tamara Hilt; his grandchildren, Eric, Jason Alexander, Chelsea Cole (Russell), William Hilt, Alexandra (Eric), Sabrina Hilt, Kalie Graves, Raef Hilt, Nathaniel Muci, Ben, Tim and Becky Hill; and his sister Betty Hilt. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
