Paul M. Sweat Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul M. Sweat of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Cynthia Schweitzer. He is survived by: his parents, Loren M. Sweat and Deanna L. Sweat (Carter) of Jamestown, KS; his close friend Carla Bergstrom of Hutchinson, KS; his sister Lynda High (Tim) of Topeka, KS; his nieces and nephews, Elvira and Doran High; his brother-in-law Shawn Schweitzer; and his nieces and nephews, Mattox, Mya, Jaxton Schweitzer, Indy and Miles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home (325 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Norway Community Center (944 KS-148, Scandia, KS 66901).
The family suggests memorials to the KSU Agronomy Department in honor of Paul in care of the funeral home.
