She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen L. Ward and Maxine J. Ward (Burgett); and her sisters, Cleta Van Wye and Kathy Huffman. She is survived by: her husband Marvin W. Surface; and her son Tim Surface (Sharon) of Great Bend.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:20 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hutchinson Community College Endowment Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
