He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Barringer and Mildred Barringer (Cole); his siblings, Lawrence and Virginia Felts; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Davis and Linda Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ellan Davis; his grandson Nathan; his children, Christina Smith (James), Nathan Barringer and Heather Barringer; his siblings, Gerald Barringer (Robin) and Velma Beeghly; his sisters-in-law, Jerrie Pitts (Bill) and Theresa Salmans (Garald); his grandchildren, Lance Smith, Andrew Smith (Marcella), Jessica Deason (Malcolm), Bryce Smith (Jennifer) and Nick Barringer; his great grandchildren, Tyson Smith, Landon Smith, Jayci Smith, Carver Smith, Maddilynn Tillman, Christian Tillman, Azaylea Deason and Maverick Deason; and also Isaac Smith. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5905 W 4th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
Memorials may be given to Reno County Veterans' Memorial or Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
