She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Lyndon and Nettie Irene Peck (Shuck); her husband Frank; and her siblings, Ruth Scott, Freda Parcel, Nina Poplinger, Robert Peck and Harold "Merlin" Peck.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Reece (Greg), Wesley Chastain (Brenda) and Jan Bontrager (Brian); and her sister-in-law Mona Peck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutchinson Funeral Chapel (300 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ellsworth Methodist Church (322 N Douglas Ave, Ellsworth, KS 67439). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fairlawn Burial Park (2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
Memorials may be made out to Ellsworth Methodist Church or The Pines Apartments in Ellsworth and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
