With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrna B (Becker) Moorman (Hutchinson, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Virgie Blanche Becker (Peterson); her brothers, James, Virgil and Charles; her parents-in-law, William L. and Laura C. Moorman; her stepfather-in-law Roy Peterson; her siblings-in-law, Fern Newton, Dorothy Becker, Georgia Becker, Bob Newton, Bill Fleming, John Clark and Neil Thompson; her granddaughter Jessica Castle; and her great grandchild Dane Moorman.
She is survived by: her children, Randall (Lorie) of Smithville, MO, Susan Castle (Dan) of Hutchinson and Patricia Monis (David) of North Chelmsford, MA; and her sister-in-law Karen Thompson of Hutchinson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
