With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Duane Parrott (Hutchinson, Kansas), who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Parrott and Ella Parrott (Ballou); his wife Sandra Kay Andersen; his son Bradley; his siblings, Max "Bud" Parrott (Sally), Maxine Burns, Rosemary Heuss (George) and JoAnn Nadler (Paul); and his brothers-in-law, Ray Armentrout and Joe Walker.
He is survived by: his pet Heidi; his sisters, Karol Armentrout and Jeanie Walker; his children, Tony Parrott (Jackie), Ed Parrott (Suzie), Craig Parrott (Toni), Renee Cubbage (Kurt) and Janene Starks; his granddaughter Jessica Thornton (Coty); his children, Timothy (Mercy Roper), Marrissa, Bella, LillyAnna, Christoffer Thornton, Becky Tindell (Nathan), Tytus, Violet, Ethan, Anaiah Tindell, Melissa Parson (Garrett), Livvie, Owen, Gemma Parson, Angela Reimann (Terry), Parker, Avery, Ella Riemann, Amanda Strausberg, Madylynn, Braeden Strausberg, Julie Kottwitz, Laura Biesler (Troy), Mason, Carter Jones, Sarah Parrott, Breanne Jones (Adam), Jasper, Pippa, Beau Jones, Chris Parrott (Taelir), Ezra, Arie Parrott, Dawn Zongker, Andrew Zongker, Grayson, Mya Johnson, Maygen Burnett (Aaron), Abrianna Burnett, Brittney Carey (Ryan) and Heather Wyatt (Leroy); and his grandchildren, Brylee and Colton Wyatt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
