With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melva C Stockstill of Hutchinson, Kansas, born in Nickerson, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Melva farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Melva is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Erdman Thompson and Leona Mae Thompson (Bennett); her husband Fred Dean Stockstill; and her sisters, Doris Thompson and Alberta'Bobbie'McKibben.
She is survived by: her niece Kathleen'Kathy' Carey (Duane) of Hutchinson, KS; and her nephews, Mark McKibben (Beth) of Hutchinson, KS and Steven McKibben (Kim) of Wichita, KS.
