She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Gaeta and Frieda Gaeta (Catania); her former husband Henry; her brothers, Joseph Gaeta of Fertile, MN and Frank Gaeta (Patricia) of Omaha; her daughter Margaret Spence (Peggy); and her son-in-law Ron of Aurora, Nebraska..

She is survived by: her children, Hank, Mary Jane and David Copeland of Punta Gorda, FL; her granddaughters, Heather, Holly, Melissa and Kristen; her sons, Steven Carpenter (Tina) of Hutchinson, KS, Christopher Carpenter (Yvonna) and Andrew Carpenter (Samantha); her grandchildren, Karen, Hope and Parker; her daughter Stephanie Doyle (Justin); her grandchildren, Peyton, Jameson and Samantha; her son Scott Carpenter of Wichita, KS; her grandson Jeffrey Krotz of Lincoln; her daughter Erin Krotz-Lee (Jeffrey) of Omaha; and her siblings, Josephine Hancock of Fairlawn, John Gaeta (Therese) and Michael Gaeta (Linda) of Omaha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
