He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Koehn and Elma Koehn (Giesel); his wife Joyce J Koehn (Ratzlaff); his brother LeRoy Koehn; and his brother-in-law Gary Koehn.

He is survived by: his children, Chad Koehn (Tonya) of Emporia, KS and Laura Walker of Hutchinson, KS; and his siblings, Ronald Koehn (Shirley) of Tribune, KS, Louise Wedel (Lavern) of Okolona, MS and Carol Koehn of Clayton, NM. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
