He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil W. Ploog and Ruby Margaret Ploog (Rolfs); and his sister Barbara Stuckwisch. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ploog of Hutchinson, KS; and his children, Lyla Graham of Garden Plain, KS, Carlyle Ploog of Rago, KS, Amy Riggs of Pueblo, CO, Sheila Alexander of Topeka, KS, Terry Hilt of Wichita, KS, David Hilt (Denise) of Fort Worth, TX, Calvin Hilt (Lisa) of Augusta, KS and Tamara Hilt of Commerce City, CO. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Countryside Baptist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
