Lucas A. Avery Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lucas A. Avery of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 38, on January 3, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bobbie Kocher and Robert "Bob" Lucas. He is survived by: his father Franklin James Avery (Kristi Oxley); his wife Shayla Morton; his children, Carl Pfenninger, Trenton, Taylor, Caylee Avery and Horace Harrison; his mother Shauna Lucas Eash (Lucas); his fathers-in-law, Larry Miller (Jody) and Von Morton (Sheryl); his siblings, James Avery (Kali) and Madison Nicodeums; his aunt Robyn Lucas (Robbie); his brothers-in-law, Shane Morton and Jeremy Campbell (Candace); his grandmother Georgia Lucas; and his cousin Cody Lucas (Erica). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the CrossPoint Church (1410 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project or to the Lucas Avery Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. If memorial is to the Lucas Avery Memorial Fund, please make the check payable to Elliott Mortuary.
