Lee Hofmeier Obituary
In loving memory of Lee Hofmeier of Hutchinson, Kansas, who departed this world on November 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Lee leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Isabel Hofmeier (Achilles) and Hugo Hofmeier; his former wife Phyllis Marie Hofmeier (Carlson); and his brother Vaughn Clifford Hofmeier. He is survived by: his wife Lois of Harper; his children, Renee Kerr (Mark) of Ness City, Richard Hofmeier (Cindy) of Oxford, Randall Hofmeier (Sandra) of Hutchinson and Shelly Hodges (Eddie) of Harper; his stepchildren, Scotty Martin (Karen) of Overland Park, Cinda Moore (Randy) of Anthony, Sammy Martin (Kerry) of Topeka and Christa Manning (Robert) of Topeka; and his brother Raymond Ellis Hofmeier (Linda) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (1300 N C St, Wellington, KS 67152). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Harper City Cemetery (121 NE 100 Rd, Harper, KS 67058).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be sent in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Homes, 613 W 14th St ~ Harper, Kansas 67058.
