He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Borntrager and Lena Borntrager (Keim). He is survived by: his wife Ruby Borntrager; his daughters, Vickie Jander (Bill) and Kay Borntrager-Clark (Guy); his grandchildren, Randee McCoy, Danyelle Flowers, Charles Eldridge and Brandon Clark; his great grandchildren, Tatton, Terra, Lexi, Mackenzie and Chloe; and his sister Ada Eash (Perry). He is also survived by step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice House or American Legion Post #68, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
